Q1.Is one day enough to visit Ait Benhaddou and the surrounding area?
Travelling from Marrakech to Ouarzazate / Ait Benhaddou requires a full day out, mostly spend on the road. The views along the way are scenic, the landscape changes dramatically as you travel through the High Atlas Mountains and rocky deserts. However, please note, the journey to Ouarzazate / Ait Benhaddou takes about 3.5 hours, with a few stops along the way to admire the scenic views and relax with a glass of tea. While there are people who love one day trips and time spend on the road, we understand that the length and intensity of this tour might sometimes be too demanding for certain travellers. Our 1 day tour to Ait Benhaddou covers the glimpse of south-east Morocco and its charm. We do recommend spending an additional day around the stunning area and discover the landscape and culture. To fully immerse yourself in the scenic landscape of this region of Morocco, we have designed 2 days tour with lots of activities and places to bring our travellers closer to Moroccan communities and natural beauty. Check our 2 DAYS OUARZAZATE TRIP for more information or contact us for a tailor-made trip.
