The Ahansal River and its stunning surroundings are one of the hidden gems of Morocco and a sought after spot to enjoy white waters while rafting in between spectacular peaks of the Altas Mountains.
A unique way to discover the remote area of the Atlas Mountains, spectacular gorges with their astonishing river wilderness and hidden Berber villages.
Please note: this activity depends on the weather and river water levels. The rafting and kayaking activities are available from late February till the end of May when the Ahansal river is formed from the snow that melts from the High Atlas Mountains.

∴ Our driver will pick you up from your accommodation early morning, 8.30am
∴ Head to Ourika Valley through colourful plains of fertile lands dotted with cedar, almond and argan trees.
∴ Upon arrival, our local guides will take you through health & safety procedures and paddle instructions, and help you prepare the essential equipment for the adventure.
∴ Start your rafting adventure with heading downstream for spectacular scenery and rapids. The river Ahansal is perfect for all rafters. The river runs down the Atlas Mountains through a dramatic deep gorge and lush canyons. White water rafting will lead us through the wild river, between grand canyons of the Atlas Mountains. Follow our experienced team as they show you one of the hidden treasures of Morocco and the best rafting spots in the country.
∴ After a short break in the beautiful surroundings of mountains and canyons, enjoy the second part of the adventure rafting through a spectacular valley with astonishing mountain peaks behind you. Our rafting adventure will take you through some of the most spectacular river wilderness and hidden Berber villages in the High Atlas Mountains.
∴ After 2 hour white water raft, enjoy locally made lunch in a nearby village, before making your way back to Marrakech.
∴ Estimated arrival time in Marrakech, 6pm.
