DAY 1 (Marrakech ⫸ Ait Benhaddou ⫸  Dades Valley)

∴ Our driver will pick you up from your accommodation, 7am.

∴ After leaving Marrakech, your first stop will be at a viewpoint Tizi N Tichka (2260m high) the highest point of the Atlas Mountains accessible by car, with panoramic views of the breath-taking landscape with Berber villages

∴ At midday, you’ll arrive at the famous fortified city of Ait Ben Haddou – the former caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech. Travel back in time with our local official guide taking you around the Kasbah. The Ksar of Aït-Ben-Haddou is a striking example of southern Moroccan architecture. Listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site, it has also been the backdrop for many Hollywood productions. Films and TV series that have used the services of the studio include The Mummy, Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, Babel, Game of Thrones, Vikings and many more.

∴ The journey then continues through the picturesque canyons of Boumalne Dades, passing the Valley of Roses and stopping at our local oasis accommodation located in Dades Valley Gorges. Traditional dinner will be followed by the live music and beating of Berber drums.

DAY 2 (Dades Valley  ⫸ Todgha Gorge ⫸ Sahara Desert)

∴ After early breakfast in Dades Gorges surroundings head on to Todgha canyons through the multi-coloured walls of the gorges. Todgha Gorges is one of the most impressive canyons in the world. These rocks formations range up to 500 meters and stretch 160 km (100 mi) from Ouarzazate to the east of Tinghir. The winding roads offer stunning views to the gorge and historic kasbahs.

∴ The adventure continues after arriving at the hotel in the Sahara where you will prepare for a camel trek to view the Saharan sunset. Guided by the local herders you will ride through the majestic dunes of the world’s biggest desert. Immerse yourself in the captivating beauty of this place and chase the light and colour of the sand when climbing dunes. Before spending a night in traditional nomad tents with a touch of eco-luxury charm, you will be served a delicious dinner followed by live Berber music around the campfire.

DAY 3 (Erg Chebbi ⫸ Midelt)

∴ In the early hours of the morning, your day will start with a camel ride to witness the sun rising over the great Sahara.

∴ After locally made breakfast, head north along the Ziz River, where landscape starts to change to rocky deserts and lush palm oases. Ziz area and oases of Tafilalt is an astonishing valley stretching from the south of the Middle Atlas Mountains, covered with palm trees between the gorges which date to the Jurrasic period.

DAY 4 (Midelt ⫸ Ifrane ⫸ Azrou ⫸ Fes)

∴ Ater locally made breakfast in the beautiful surrounding od Midelt, head north to the charming town of Azrou. Discover the mountain village with its famous Berber market centre deep in the Middle Atlas. Visit the famous Ennour mosque, beautifully finished with local cedar woods.

∴  After visiting the town travel through astonishing views of the mountains, with a distinctive smell of cedar woods around. The area of Middle Atlas is also home to its native apes, local Barbary monkeys which you will have a chance to see from a closeup.

∴ The journey up north then continues through the lush green meadows and Middle Atlas peaks. The journey will take you through the green peaks of the Middle Atlas Mountains and their charming cedar forests. You will be stopping at various points to truly immerse in the beautiful surroundings of palm oases, green valleys, and fertile lands until we reach the famous town of Ifran.

∴ Known as Switzerland of Morocco, Ifran is a famous winter ski resort offering beautiful views of the mountain valleys and local villages.

∴ The last stop before reaching Fes will be in the town of Sefrou. This ancient Berber town located on the edge of the Middle Atlas holds a beautiful old Medina listed on UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city is known for its ancient inns used by caravans. Sefrou is also known for its historical Jewish population and annual cherry festival.

∴ Your journey to Fes then continues through the green peaks of the Middle Atlas Mountains and their charming cedar forests.
