Let us introduce you to the ancient art of handwriting, the famous Islamic calligraphy.
Our workshop takes you through the first steps of learning, practice, and methods used by the calligraphy masters. Discover the old handwriting systems that still continue to be used today and have been passed down through generations.
This unique workshop includes an introduction and materials used by calligraphers in the old Islamic traditions, writing the Arabic alphabet, and exploring the ancient methods used in learning this ancient art.
Our local calligraphy teacher provides all the essential equipment and the finest examples of Islamic manuscripts as well as support throughout the workshop, and a little gift for each participant at the end of the workshop.

∴ Islamic calligraphy is an artistic practice of handwriting based on the alphabet in lands sharing a common Islamic cultural heritage. It includes Arabic Calligraphy, Ottoman, and Persian calligraphy. It is known in Arabic as khatt Islami meaning Islamic line, design, or construction.
∴ The art of Islamic Calligraphy is lifelong learning. It is a journey where you don’t just learn how to write letters, but you learn patience, humility, and self-discipline.
