As we’re watching the last sunsets of 2020 in the peaceful surroundings of the Great Sahara Desert, we look back and reflect on the extremely challenging and unusual year.
Without a doubt, 2020 has been tough for all of us and changed our lives in ways we could never imagine. We miss dearly our travelling community, families, and friends. It’s difficult not to be out on the road exploring and connecting with people and places.
The impact of the pandemic across the world is huge, especially on the tourism sector. Since travel and tourism are vital income for local communities and small independent businesses, this year has been a great challenge for those whose sources of income have been deeply affected. We work very closely with local communities here in Morocco.
Each of our journeys directly supports local families, artisans, and small independent businesses. The passing year has brought great challenges for all of us and with the start of a new year, we’re committed even more to supporting local communities and families that have helped so many of us create unique lifetime memories.
