Enjoy the horse ride through the rocky deserts dotted with earth-built kasbahs around the mesmerizing landscape of Ouarzazate. Discover Ait Benhaddou – UNESCO World Heritage Site, and a major stop on the former caravan routes. Ait Benhaddou has also been a backdrop of the most famous Hollywood productions (Gladiator, Game of Thrones, Star Wars, Prince of Persia, and many more).
This activity takes you back in time to the astonishing Amazigh architecture and lets you feel like a true Hollywood star in the world’s famous movie surroundings.

What's it like?
∴ Our guides will pick you up from your accommodation or you can meet them at the starting point of the tour, at the horse stables in the Ait Benhaddou village.
∴ Start your activity with health & safety guidance from the instructors, and an introduction to the local animals at the stables. Our local instructors then help you get on a horse and slowly guide your way towards the village of Ait Benhaddou and its surroundings on the former caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech in present-day Morocco. The Ksar of Aït-Ben-Haddou is a striking example of southern Moroccan architecture. Listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site, it has also been the backdrop for many Hollywood productions such as Game of Thrones, Star Wars, The Gladiator, Alexander, Prince of Persia, The Mummy, and many more.
∴ Travel back in time with our local instructors taking you around the kasbah, stop for breathtaking views and immerse yourself in the magical surrounding of the desert.
∴ After the activity, our guides invite you to enjoy a glass of traditional tea & snacks in one of Ait Benhaddou’s charming restaurants overlooking the ancient village.
