Q1.Do I need hiking clothes in the Mountains?
Ourika Valley is a mountainous area with mild temperatures in winter and relatively warm during summer months. Comfortable outdoor footwear and outerwear that you can layer are recommended.
Q2.Can I buy any Argan products from Local Women Cooperative?
We strongly encourage our travellers to support the local Argan Cooperative that is run entirely by local Amazigh women. Along with discovering the old way of extracting Argan oil, you will have a chance to try different argan products made at the cooperative (food, oils, toiletries) Products like natural creams, face and hair masks, body and hand oils are available for purchase straight from the cooperative. All products are hand-made, certified organic and of high quality produced entirely in the local cooperative. We support local communities and advise our travellers to always shop local and support local businesses.
