1. Agreeing Parties

  • These Terms and Conditions apply to the purchase of the services and goods by you (the Customer or you).
  • We are The Alternative Morocco a company registered in England and Wales under number 1245826 whose registered office is in London, England, W2 with email address [email protected]; telephone number (+447495811378); (the Supplier or us or we).
  • These are the terms on which we sell all our Services to you. By ordering any of the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Fees And Payment

  • Payment for Services must be made upon the reservation by submitting your PayPal, credit or debit card details with your Order
  • Fees and charges include VAT at the rate applicable at the time of the Order.
  • All Payment will be made in GBP (Pound Sterling)
  • Clients are responsible for adding any fees for card payments and bank charges including international bank transactions or PayPal fees so we receive the money owed in full.

3. Personal Requirement

  • Reservations should be made by a person at least 18 years old
  • Any customer who is under 18 should be accompanied by their legal guardian
  • You should inform us if you or anyone from your reservation have or don’t have any physical, mental, other conditions or disabilities

4. Inclusions And Exclusions

  • By making an order on our website you confirm that you have read and understood the inclusion and exclusion sections we have under every service we provide.

5. Cancellation By Customer

  • We have a strict cancellation policy and it is not guaranteed that we’ll be able to refund your reservation. The reason for this is that we work with small businesses, and it is very difficult to re-allocate the booking if it is cancelled. Any cancellation request must be by a written notice sent to our Email: [email protected]

If you wish to cancel your booking, regardless of reason or circumstances, the following refund options are available:

  • Shared tours and shared activities :

– a full refund if you sent a request 7 days prior to the traveling date.

-100% fee will be charged if your request is received less than 7 days prior to the traveling date.

-100% fee will be charged if your request is received less than 21 days prior to the traveling date.

  • Private tours, activities & tailor-made tours:

-a full refund if you send a request 21 days prior to the traveling date.

  • Cultural and Solidarity tours:

-a full refund if you sent a request 60 days prior to the traveling date.

-50% fee will be charged if your request is received less than 60 days prior to the traveling date.

-100% fee will be charged if your request is received less than 30 days prior to the traveling date.

  • Accommodation:

-a full refund if you sent a request 30 days prior to the check-in date.

-100% fee will be charged if your request is received less than 30 days prior to the check-in date.

  • Car rental:

– a full refund if you sent a request 7 days prior to the traveling date.

-100% fee will be charged if your request is received less than 7 days prior to the traveling date.

  • Airport shuttle and Intercity Airport Services:

-a full refund if you sent a request 7 days prior to the traveling date.

-100% fee will be charged if your request is received less than 7 days prior to the traveling date.

  • Hiring a guide

– a full refund if you sent a request 30 days prior to the traveling date.

-100% fee will be charged if your request is received less than 30 days prior to the travelling date.

  • Transport service:

-a full refund if you sent a request 30 days prior to the traveling date.

-100% fee will be charged if your request is received less than 30 days prior to the traveling date.

6. Cancellation By The Company

  • In the case of unforeseen circumstances, The Company reserves the right to cancel Trips at any time prior to Trips starting date, and a full refund (no additional compensation) will be issued to the customers.

7. Changes To Your Booking By You

  • We will make our best possible arrangements to change your booking with no additional charges if you make your request more than a week prior to the activity or planned tour date.

The request must be delivered to our email: [email protected], and you will be contacted as soon as possible with our decision and explanation if needed.

8. Itinerary Change By The Company

  • The company reserves the right to change the itinerary of your trips in the case of events threatening the safety of our customers and staff, and we are committed to processing any refund if needed without any compensation.

9. Special Requirements and Needs

  • The customer is responsible for informing the company of any special requirements, such as but not limited to allergies, dietary requirements, hearing or vision, and limited mobility.
  • We try our best to accommodate all our guests’ needs.
  • The customer will be notified of any additional costs charged for their request.

 

10. Travel Insurance

  • Obtaining travel insurance for Trips is compulsory.

We do not provide travel insurance. It is your full responsibility to obtain appropriate travel insurance. We strongly encourage you to have travel insurance in the event of illness, cancellation, baggage loss, delays, and others

11. Passport And Visa Entry

  • Verifying if Travellers need a visa to enter Morocco is the sole responsibility of the customer.
  • Our cancelation policies apply even if your entry to Morocco is refused.

12. Force Majeure

  • Except where otherwise expressly stated in these booking terms and conditions we will not be liable to or pay you compensation if our contractual obligations to you are affected by any event which we could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. These events can include, but are not limited to war, the threat of war, civil strife, terrorist activity and its consequences or the threat of such activity, riot, the act of any government or other national or local authority including port or river authorities, industrial dispute, lock closure, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, chemical or biological disaster and adverse weather, sea, ice and river conditions and all similar events outside our control. Advice from the Foreign Office to avoid or leave a particular country may constitute Force Majeure.

13. Limitation Of Liability

  • Customers accept any and all liability that Company Trips can involve activities, some in remote areas, with a risk of injury and/or death that may be caused by such instances, but not limited to, forces of nature, third party conduct or contact that is either known or unknown or wilful or un-wilful, negligence on behalf the Company and/or negligence upon its third party suppliers.
  • Customers accept that medical services and/or administrative facilities may not be readily available or accessible during some or all of the time during Trips.
  • The Company is not responsible nor liable for any injury, loss, or damage to person or property, death, delay, or inconvenience in connection with Trips and/or journeys towards or onwards from the Company. Customers hold the Company harmless for any and all damages incurred.
  • The Company does not own, operate, or in control of third party suppliers providing goods and/or services for Trips, including such as but not limited to, airlines, hotels, transportation vehicles and operators, food and beverages, experiential craft, etc…
  • Customers absolve the Company from any and all liability resulting in any injury, loss, or damage to person or property, death, delay, or inconvenience in connection with the provision of any goods and/or services provided by third party suppliers in connection with Trips.

14. Media Use

  • Customers hereby acknowledge, consent and agree that by participating in Company Trips, they will be photographed, videoed, and/or digitally recorded, defined herein “Content,” to be published on Company platforms and its subsidiaries in existence or hereafter developed. customers grant a royalty-free perpetual license if any and all possessive likeliness is used in Content published.
  • Content is permissible to be published on third party platforms for the promotion of the Company. customers grant a royalty-free perpetual license if any and all possessive likeliness is used in Content reproduction. 
  • Content created by Travellers is permissible to be published on personal platforms. The Company reserves the right to permit Content published to commercial platforms owned and/or represented, affiliated, or associated with Travellers.
  • Content created by customers featuring the possessive likeliness of other customers must have consent.

15. Complaints

  • We will make every effort to ensure that your booking runs smoothly but if you do have a problem during your booking please inform us immediately on either the emergency number detailed in your booking confirmation or, if calling during UK office hours, +44 749 581 1378 and we will endeavor to put things right. If the problem cannot be resolved and you wish to complain further, you must send formal written notice of your complaint to us within 28 days of the end of your booking.

 

16. Law And Jurisdiction

  • The booking and any matters arising from it will be governed by and construed in accordance with laws of England and we and you prorogate the jurisdiction of the English courts.
  • If the Company must pursue a legal claim and is successful with a favorable judgment against Travellers in a court claim, Travellers agree to pay for any and all legal costs and court fees the Company incurs.

17. Update Of Terms And Conditions:

We reserve the right to update and/or amend these terms and conditions at any time.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

10 Day Tour AUTHENTIC MOROCCO ∴ THE ANCIENT CARAVAN ROUTES

1. Booking Policy

  • A 25% non-refundable deposit (£500) is required to reserve a spot on the tour. The remaining balance is due no later than 30 days prior to the trip starting date.
  • Payment plans are offered for bookings made more than 30 days prior to the trip starting date.
  • Bookings made less than 30 days prior to the start of the trip have to be made in full (£2400)

2. Cancellation by Customers

If you wish to cancel your booking, regardless of reason or circumstances, the following refund options are available:

  • 60 days prior to the travelling date, the deposit is non-refundable, any other payment made will be fully refunded.
  • 30 days prior to the travelling date, the deposit is non-refundable, any other payment will be 50% refunded.
  • Cancellation less than 30 days prior to the travelling date, no refund will be provided.
  • All bookings made before the trip can be transferred to another person, with no extra cost, in the event of cancellation.

3. Cancellation by The Company

  • In the case of unforeseen circumstances, The Company reserves the right to cancel Trips at any time prior to Trips starting date, and the full refund will be issued to the customers.
  • In the event of The Company canceling Trips, the Company is not responsible for any additional costs, such as but not limited to airfare, accommodation, visa fees, etc.

4. Travel Insurance

  • Obtaining Travel Insurance for our Trip is compulsory.
  • It is our customers’ full responsibility to obtain appropriate travel insurance. We strongly encourage our customers to have travel insurance in the event of personal accidents, cancellation, baggage loss, flight delays, and other circumstances.

5. Inclusions & Exclusions

  • Inclusions: Local Official Guide throughout the trip & The Alternative Morocco Team
  • 10x Traditional Breakfast 10x Lunch 10x Locally Made Dinner 10x Traditional Accommodation (Local Riads, Kasbahs, Amazigh houses, Eco desert tents)
  • Entries & Admissions, Transport throughout the whole trip, Pottery Workshop, Carpet Weaving Workshop, Spa Hammam Treatment, Henna Art tattoo, Airport Shuttle from Marrakech Menara Airport.
  • Exclusions: Personal Expenses, Staff gratitude, Activities outside the scheduled itinerary, Airfare in and out of Morocco, Alcohol, Travel Insurance (compulsory).

6. Trips Itinerary & Changes

  • The full Itinerary will be given to the customers 30 days prior to the trip starting date and when the final payment is completed.
  • The Company reserves the right to modify Trips itinerary according to circumstances, including but not limited to, staff shortage, accommodation, transport, without prior notice to Travellers for any reason.
